I found out that I had the wrong name for what the docs say is the issue for Bud's renal failure. It is not microglobulin - it is Myoglobin. Here is what it says in the textbook: Myoglobin is released from damaged muscle tissue (rhabdomyolysis), which has very high concentrations of myoglobin. The released myoglobin is filtered by the kidneys but is toxic to the renal tubular epithelium and so may cause acute renal failure.[9]
so now we are in dialysis. please keep bud in your prayers.

We always pray for him and you!
Hi Barb,
I don't have a blog going yet, maybe someday I'll actually get one. For now, you can email me at samanthahenson@hotmail.com. I wasn't sure if you would remember me since there has been so many missionaries and I haven't kept touch with anyone very well. I also would have stopped to say hi when we were out in Michigan in April. My sister-in-law is living in Lansing while her husband goes to law school. I hope Bud gets feeling better. Sis. oh my - of COURSE I remember you! I hope if you come out again that you will contact us - we can do dinner or something! Thanks for writing back - I will email soon.
thinking of you all!
I finally got my act together and created a blog. I found an email address for you in my mission stuff, so if it's the same one you had 5 years ago, you should get the link.
i will look for it
